ΚΑΛΛΙΓΡΑΦΗΜΑ

 

Πανιά στο Νείλο

πουλιά χωρίς κελάηδισμα με μια φτερούγα

γυρεύοντας σιωπηλά την άλλη.

Ψηλαφώντας στην απουσία τ’ ουρανού

το σώμα ενός μαρμαρωμένου εφήβου

γράφοντας με συμπαθητικό μελάνι στο γαλάζιο

μιαν απελπιστική κραυγή.

 

CALLIGRAPHY

 

Sails on the Nile,

birds with no chirping and with one wing

silently searching for the other;

groping in the absence of sky

for the body of a marble youth;

inscribing on the light-blue with invisible ink

a desperate cry.
