Lecture #12 – Aristotle’s views on god

Aristotle mentions that every kind of thing, process of change or becoming has to be explained in terms of four factors or four causes not just the matter or material cause which is the subject of change or the efficient cause that exerts the force, but the formal cause which is the essential nature of what goes on and the final cause or purpose.
