Eteo opened his eyes. The first signs of daylight were visible through
the half-open blinds. He turned on his back and stretched his legs.
Momentarily, a sweet feeling of muscle tension and relaxation overtook
him. His eyes were still getting used to the daylight slowly flooding
his bedroom as the clock hit five thirty. he full glare of day wasn’t
far off.
He heard sounds of activity on the other side of the house. Logan,
his older son, must be getting ready to go to the office. He stretched
his legs across the other side of the bed, which was still cool and comfortable
to the touch. He didn’t feel ready to get up. The two other
men of the house must still be asleep; Alexander needed to
start getting ready around seven, and Jonathan didn’t have to go to
Simon Fraser University until ten.
He still wasn’t ready to get up. His eyes, wide open by now, perused
the room, but his attention was fixated on the sounds coming
from the other side of the house. His mind ran to yesterday afternoon
and his date with Susan. She had looked fabulous, tight, black-leather
pants accentuating her beautiful buttocks and a dark red blouse
tightly hugging the well-formed breasts she loved to brush against
him at any opportunity, even in front of others in the brokerage firm.
Susan with the fiery brown eyes and shoulder-length hair flowing so
smoothly, except when she wanted his attention. Then she would toss
her head to one side, causing her hair, as if by magic, to make a
strange flotation from left to right as if demanding his uninterrupted
attention. Susan, whom he knew, would love to take him at the first
opportunity … though yesterday she had made it clear it was that
time of the month. This wouldn’t have bothered him at all, something
he had also made clear to her, but she had insisted she didn’t like that.
